SOD Turning in Bodibe

In November of 2018, Lafarge South Africa hosted a sod turning ceremony in Bodibe Village to mark the start of two construction projects that will directly benefit the community. Lafarge is set on creating meaningful change in the area with the construction of a pallet manufacturing plant, as well as a multi-purpose centre. 

Communities in the North West Province will be a part of the project every step of the way. Together, we will develop sustainable economic growth for the area through local job creation and community upliftment. The pallet manufacturing plant features state-of-the-art design and will add to the area’s rising infrastructure profile. The multi-purpose centre will include offices for social services, a public library, and early childhood development facilities.
