Enterprise Development Workshop

As part of Lafarge’s commitment to supporting Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise (SMME) development in South Africa, we have launched our enterprise development workshop. The aim of the workshop is to use training and skills development to shape emerging local enterprises into stronger businesses that can play a role in the national construction chain. 

Working alongside SMMEs local to where we operate increases their capability and output, which creates socio-economic growth that directly benefits the communities. This promotes long-term sustainable progress, as well as poverty alleviation. By creating an accessible platform for SMMEs to gain valuable and practical knowledge, Lafarge is able to leave a lasting positive impact on the communities at the heart of our operation.
