In September 2006, we opened the Lafarge Gypsum Training Centre with the objective of helping contractors and installers to improve their skills in the installation of plasterboard and complementary interior solutions. The courses are designed to meet the needs of installers, who are looking to work with our products, as well as architects, who are looking to better understand the products and how they can be used in projects.

The courses are designed to be as short as possible to fit in with the work schedules of our customers. The format of each course has the same structure:

First a module on Safety
Classroom theory
Practical training in our workshop
A concluding short mastery test

At the end of each course, the learners will have mastered the skill to use the particular product, as well as gained an understanding of the features and benefits of the range of Lafarge Gypsum products. New courses are regularly added to the schedule.
